We are guided by the following Mission Statement for this school.

"At Oakfield Infant School, we endeavour to provide a welcoming, happy, caring, secure environment into which children, parents and staff may happily come"

The school is classified as a Community Infant School catering for children between the ages of 4 - 7 years and the Standard Intake is 60.

We seek a curriculum of quality. One which builds upon basic skills and promotes academic excellence for all our children. A curriculum which encourages success and recognises the needs and abilities of all our children.At Oakfield Infant School each child is a valued and active member of the community.Opportunities are provided for children to develop their own particular talents in a challenging, stimulating, colourful environment.


Children's achievements will be displayed and celebrated.At Oakfield Infant School our relationships are built upon mutual trust and respect.We work together as a team to provide an orderly and supportive atmosphere, so that our children can become confident, independent and caring.
