Reception

Recycling Week

We had a fantastic time during Recycling Week. The Reception children brought lots of recycling materials into school and enjoyed making some imaginative models.

Royal Wedding Celebrations

As part of our Royal Wedding celebrations, Reception Class held their very own wedding in the school hall. The children had roles of wedding guests, bridesmaids, a vicar and of course the Bride and Groom. Congratulations to our very own Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.

Reception class went on a visit to Hall Hill Farm in the first half of the Summer Term. They had the chance to hold and feed a range of animals and birds, such as lambs, goats, chicks and rabbits. They had lots of fun on the mini tractors and laughed so much at the puppet show! They all had a brilliant day out! Follow the links for more photos...

Show Us Your Wellies!!!

Reception class loved wearing their wellies during welly week both ouside and in. Apart from splashing in the mud and exploring, they did disco dancing in their wellies, the conga and some welly art work. You are all Wellytastic Reception class!

Halloween  in Reception Class

       Halloween 1   Halloween2

On the 22nd October Reception class held an exciting Halloween Event. The special event was to raise money to buy some new building blocks to be used in Reception Class. They held a 'Pumpkin Hunt' in the school grounds, 'Art and Craft' activities in the hall, 'Story Telling' in the cottage on the field, and  had an 'Open Cafe' for reception parents and siblings. The children had a fantastic day and managed to raise £300 to buy their equipment.
